Donkey Fever
Refers to the fever hitting Pleasure Land. Pinocchio is trapped; he sees the children turn into donkeys and subsequently being enslaved. The composition is a musical Ouroboros, it can start over and continue: snake bites tail.
No Side Left
Serves as an answer to Frederic Rzewski’s “Who’s Side Are You On”; there is no sensible side to choose. We have all been pushed into the corner, cornertime for everyone.
Washaway
After millions of years of patient selection and mutation, nature has succeeded in developing an intelligent being with the intention of destroying itself and starting again from scratch.
The songs Kyrie Asini and Hez! Sire Asnez Hez! appear in a medieval Latin-French song known as "Orientis partibus" or the "Song of the Ass". It dates from the 12th or 13th century and was sung during the Feast of the Donkey (Fête de l'âne) or the Feast of the Fools in France.
